Foundations of Hatha Series
Mondays, April 29th-May 27th 5:45-7pm
Learn traditional practices that express the eight limbs of yoga.
Participants will experience yoga as tools for refining the mind (chitta) and getting beyond thoughts (vrittis). All levels of yogi can take something from this series. Classes will include a combination of asana (postures), pranayama (breath-work), chanting and meditation.
The eight limbs of yoga:
moral discipline, observances, physical postures, breathing techniques, sense withdrawal, concentration, meditation, bliss.
DATES: April 29th, May 6th, May 13th, May 27th (No class Monday, May 20th for Victoria Day.)
